A martial artist for 28 years and currently a 4th Dan in Tang Soo Do. His first Black belt was in Tae Kwon Do in 1996. Since then he has trained in many different styles; Okinawan Shorin Ryu, Ving Tsun Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong. His passion for learning became a passion for teaching and has been teaching full time since 2010. His background also includes NLP, hypnosis, NS, and various mind/body coaching technologies that contribute to his leadership and communication ability. His goal is to introduce every student to their best selves.

My program is based in traditional Tang Soo Do in terms of structure, however, the modality of teaching is based on positive reinforcement, encouragement to try new things, and motivational language and attitudes that promote confidence, courage, resilience, and GRIT

Over the last 8 years, I have created and refined a bare-bones, simple self-defense course mainly for women. I continue to refines this course every time I teach it. Simple., effective, and anyone can learn it.
